THE WALKING DEAD Coming to Blu-ray and DVD - We Have the Date and Details!

Who isn't a fan of THE WALKING DEAD? Its one of those shows that we heard so much hype before the product was released that we just knew it couldn't live up to expectations. Guess what? It did and then some. The Frank Darabont produced basic cable series on AMC is taking over the universe. Today we have the artwork and release date info you need to get your "walker" fix during long summer break...

The second season of THE WALKING DEAD may not be airing until Halloween of 2011 but fans of the weekly episodic series will not have long to wait before facing the zombie apocalypse again. Anchor Bay has announced that March 8th, 2011 is indeed the date the series will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray discs.

No solid extras have been announced but look for the typical "behind the scenes" and "director commentary" to come with this discs. THE WALKING DEAD has indeed left its mark and owning the first season on DVD or Blu-ray seems like a must. Either way, we need something "dead" to tide us over until next Halloween.
